Amber Jack Hellhouse
My family who often eats at this place, went there Sunday July 15th, 2007 for a nice lunch for my hubands grandma's birthday. There was about 15 in our party (mostly older people above the age of 60 that are not used to hearing the profanity that would soon come our way) shortly after getting there we placed our order and got a call that two more people would be joining us there. My mother in law went to a near by table and begin to grab an extra chair for our table when the Owner Kitty came flying out of the back grabbed the chair from my mother in law hands and threw it back against a booth! She screamed at us and told us we were all rude for getting a chair and we could get off her property! As we begin to talk amoung ourselves on where we would go next for Grandma birthday lunch, (that was ruined at this point), the b*%$ came flying back out and screamed at us to get the hell off her property. When one of my husbands Aunt's said where going, please dont scream at us she was scaring the kids (did I mention there was a 8 year old, a 1 year old, and a 3 week year old in our group) she just raised her voice even higher like a complete pyshco! So anyway we all scramble as fast as we could to get the hell out of that place, when my unlce went up and offerd to pay for the beers that they had already drank, Kitty aka B*^%& then screamed in his face to just leave. To top the day off my sister in law (who is pregant) was in tears leaving when the bitch told her Go F&$* Yourself) My family will never eat there again and none of us have ever been talked to that way by an owner before, we will be sure and tell everyone about this place. She just threw away at least $400 of buisness!!!

Worst Expierence I ever had in a resteraunt
This resteraunt took 55 min to receive food and when complained to the owner, she was rude, disrespectful, thought is was acceptable to make us wait 55 min for food. Told us we should have went to mcdonalds (stated all food sits under warmers) or cracker barrel (which she stated fixes their food in microwaves) don't go here

Most Horrible Hospitality EVER
This place, actually named Amber Jack Alehouse, defies description. I don't believe there are any bad enough words in the English language to describe their customer service. I really don't understand why they are still in business, or why anyone would ever go back there, after being kicked around by the owners. I have never been treated so badly in my life! I came there, just wanting to be seated and to be served a meal, and then to pay my money. Instead, I got verbal abuse and nasty language from the female owner. (I won't name any names here, but she's more like a snarling alley cat than a purring kitten!) She actually chased me and members of my party into the parking lot, uttering insane, bizarre threats. We basically had to run for our lives! Another customer came out and told us that this is a routine occurrence at the restaurant, that she saw the female owner throw a WHOLE CHURCH GROUP out the other day! Also an elderly friend of my mom showed up recently with another friend at 10 minutes to 4. (They were expecting a party of nine.) They asked the She-Cat if they could come inside out of the cold to sit down and wait for their friends. Cat From Hell replied, "No, you can't. We don't open until 4 o' clock. Get out." When one of the elderly women remonstrated, the She-Cat's husband (also an owner) appeared at the door and yelled at these two helpless older women: "You can't talk to my wife that way! Get out of here and never come back!" Unbelievable! This same husband told me and my friends: "I don't think I want to serve you! Get out of here!" just because one of my friends questioned She-Cat's frequent tantrums and use of the F-word while we were waiting to be seated. She-Cat's response to my friend's complaint: "Yes, I admit I said 'F--- it!' I'll say it again! F--- it! F--- it!! F--- it!" I have heard that the food here is okay, but I wouldn't know, since I'm now one of the growing throngs in Springfield who are members of the "KICKED OUT BY KITTY" club.

This place, actually named Amber Jack Alehouse, defies description. I don't believe there are any bad enough words in the English language to describe their customer service. I really don't understand why they are still in business, or why anyone would ever go back there, after being kicked around by the owners. I have never been treated so badly in my life! I came there, just wanting to be seated and to be served a meal, and then to pay my money. Instead, I got verbal abuse and nasty language from the female owner. (I won't name any names here, but she's more like a snarling alley cat than a purring kitten!) She actually chased me and members of my party into the parking lot, uttering insane, bizarre threats. We basically had to run for our lives! Another customer came out and told us that this is a routine occurrence at the restaurant, that she saw the female owner throw a WHOLE CHURCH GROUP out the other day! This customer said that her own six-year old daughter was reduced to tears when the female owner screamed at the little girl for coloring with crayons on a piece of paper at the table instead of eating her food! (The owner yelled at the child, This is not a WORK table! It is an EATING table!) Also an elderly friend of my mom showed up recently with another friend at 10 minutes to 4. (They were expecting a party of nine.) They asked the female owner if they could come inside out of the cold to sit down and wait for their friends. Female owner replied, No, you can't. We don't open until 4 o' clock. Get out. Speechless
Well I didn't want to say this before but now that I am not the only one I must say this has to be the worst restaurant in Springfield. I came in with my family and was told by the owner (who has horrible breath!) that we need to wait until she is sure that her server is ready to take tables. We waited for over half an hour. When I asked for a glass of water so my elderly mother could take her meds she stated that I should "give her a damn minute" and disappeared. How this women thinks she can run a customer service based business and survive is beyond me. I have worked in restaurants through college and learned early on that a satisfied customer may tell a friend but a dissatisfied customer WILL tell ten friends. I think the owner would make a better go at it working for the prisons or as a bouncer or some other job were it is acceptable to be a professional a**hole
