If you're in Springfield and you enjoy golf, you need to head to The Rail. It's an institution in and of itself in the Springfield area. The LPGA doesn't play there anymore and it's a shame. The course is fairly open, but does have its share of bunkers and even some water. For an old farm, that's not too bad. We were there after a huge amount of rain and the course was a little wet - but still worth the trip. The staff was courteous and friendly and so were the people we met on the course. Definitely worth a trip.
